Embalming is not a work, it's a pleasure
Dig inside the dead is a necessary task
With my hands I willingly manipulate
infected tissue, blood vessels and damaged ligaments

Inebriating fumes I absorb
From that open torso they belong
The odour of infection is a drug for me
Stagnating blood on my hands I need

Coagulated fluids
Brownish organs full of maggots
Formaldehyde injection
Avoiding tissue fermentation

Decomposition I crave
But the skin is what I have to preserve
I keep all the organs for me
And I watch them decay as they take my breath away

All the final steps of this natural process
The worms will feast and the eyes will sink
